Good things come in five’s

Remember when you were a teenager and email was just coming out? People would send you forwards with all sorts of questions to answer. You had to copy and paste the questions, complete them and send this off to your friends. It was awesome! However, I think I may have been one of the only people who liked doing this….

Christine at Love Life Surf did what she calls Old School Blogging: lists of five things about you, right now. Why not?

5 Things I have a passion for:

1. Cooking/Baking

2. Eating at restaurants

3. Air travel, especially on BIG planes and through huge international airports (except London Heathrow)!

4. Hosting dinner parties

5. Writing and running (tie!)

My plane from Montreal to Paris

5 Things I would like to do before I die:

1. Stop letting other’s crap get to me (long term goal, a bit more philosophical)

2. Own a dog (or two)

3. Learn Swedish

4. Take a cooking class in Paris or Rome (but preferably Paris)

5. Be a mom (obviously to be done wayyyyyyyyy before I die)

5 Things I say a lot:

1. ‘Right, ……’

2. ‘What?’

3. ‘Good morning!’

4. ‘Danielle speaking…’ (at work)

5. ‘I’ll be up soon…’ (not soon at all)

5 books or magazines I’ve read lately:

1. Catch-22 by Joseph Heller

2. Sex in the City by Candace Bushnell

3. A Life Without Limits by Chrissie Wellington

4. Jamie Magazine

5. My Runner’s World Complete Guide to Women’s Running

Very eclectic

5 Favourtie Movies:

1. Love Actually

2. Untouchable (or Les Intouchables in French)

3. Julie and Julia (I love Meryl Streep in it)

4. A League of Their Own

5. Eat Pray Love (even though it’s different from the book, but still good!)

5 places I would love to travel to:

1. Sweden (so much like Canada, and did I mention I want to learn Swedish?)

2. Mauritius or the Maldives

3. Back to New Zealand

4. Back to Italy

5. California

5 people I invite to do this list:

1. Rachel

2. Hyedi

3. Shantalie

4. My sister Marielle

5. Amy

6. Erin

7. And new blogger, Lloyd

And you!!!!!!

  1. Yay! So glad that you did this. Wasn't a Life Without Limits good? I also love that you specify that you love traveling on big planes. And yes, I'd like to travel to all those places too please!
